Confidence follows the document
Confidence assessments describe the form and scope of the evidence: a final regulatory finding, an administrative notice, a recorded statement, a disputed allegation or a report calculation. They are not numerical probabilities, and source counts do not mechanically increase them.
A primary-origin record may be hosted on an archive or court-opinion mirror. Its host and its original document genre are separate attributes. S66 is a primary Federal Reserve notice; its allegations remain different from A057’s final regulatory finding.
Assertions retain their exact scope
The assertion that Kerry made a statement is supported by the transcript; it does not by itself establish the underlying account balances. The assertion that a record contains conflicting accounts is different from adopting one of those accounts as the truth.
Scenario testing is source exclusion
Excluding a source reveals what remains documented. It does not rewrite history, declare the source false or turn an absence into contrary evidence. Counter-evidence includes its target claim, procedural context and the reason it is unresolved or distinguished.
Relationships and phases remain dated
Entity mentions are recognized from a bounded alias catalogue. Graph edges are curated from named sources. Case phases are what the historical source establishes; this platform does not claim a current-docket audit.
Local and shared research
JSON snapshots can be re-imported on a device. Shared curator writes require a configured PostgreSQL database and private curator token. Public browsing and export use the bundled snapshot when those services are not configured.
